I can't say enough about what a great company Deer Valley Plumbing & Air Conditioning is. My water heater failed while it was still under warranty, and I needed a new one installed, but because I have a direct vent water heater, the company that my home warranty sent out told me I needed to pay $1000 out of pocket for modifications that were needed to install the new water heater. They wouldn't listen to me when I told them I paid several hundred dollars to make those modifications when I had the previous water heater installed 4 years earlier. Then two other plumbing companies agreed that I had to make the modifications and pay for extra parts. Thankfully, a rep at the supply company told me to call Deer Valley Plumbing & Air Conditioning, and I am so happy I did. They were able to determine from photographs that I did not need the modifications, and they quoted me a price that was half of what the other companies had estimated. And they said they could have the water heater installed the next day. Don, the technician, was amazing. He is extremely knowledgeable and was able to install the water heater in less than an hour (I had been told it was a 4 to 5 hour job by another plumbing company trying to justify their expensive pricing). Deer Valley Plumbing & Air Conditioning came to our house within 48 hours of an initial inquiry, and we were not previous customers. This assessment led to a re-pipe of the house, which was painful to undertake but needed to be done - in a hurry. We got a solid quote the next day and work began within 2 days of that. While we know this could have been done for a cheaper amount, we are glad that we invested in Deer Valley to complete all of the work for us. Not only are we happy with the quality, they had no issues including extras like replacing the water heater, fixtures, and other related work. The only negative was a bit of under-estimating the timeline for all work to be complete. Even so, Jared and Kayden went above and beyond to get water service restored. We had to use DVP 4 times now for 4 different issues that occurred and every time their techs were courteous, professional, and did quality work. This last one one with Remmington to fix a leaking sink faucet. He had to end up putting in two new hot/cold valves in the wall, as the old ones were seized and wouldn't turn on/off, then he put in the new faucet that we bought.
